In this film they shoot the rope off when one fella is about to be hanged. As you know this was in both Fistful and GBU. Had this been in any western prior to Treasure of Silver Lake?
And about the gold treasure, they get really excited when they find it (a big pile of golden objects) and start fighting to get to it. One character ends up in something that looks like quicksand.
This is like Django Kill when they find golden bullets in the chest of a man, and the quicksand in Django.
So Treasure of Silver Lake is in some ways a proto-spaghetti western actually.

Yes, and variations of this were in other SWs as well, two separate bits of information to get to the (gold) treasure.
And gold in general is of course featured in many SWs. Someone even wrote a piece of music about the ecstasy of wanting to find the gold.
