Killer Kid…pretty bad full-italian spaghetti with Steffen on it (4 out of 10 for me).

I miscounted, I had Tinto Brass’s Yankee down as watched, but I never actually finished it, so my 200th Spaghetti Western ended up being Fulci’s Four of the Apocalypse.
I really enjoyed this one, a slow-paced and somewhat more introspective film, an at times hypnotic and dreamlike work that lacks the plot holes typical of Fulci’s Giallo films (where everything is “aesthetics”). Even though it doesn’t reach the level of excess we would see in his later works, it bears all the hallmark and spirit of the master Fulci.
A good Spaghetti Western to reach the 200 mark, I think.

“The Beguild,” USA 1971, directed by Don Siegel, starring Clint Eastwood, Geraldine Page, and Elizabeth Hartmann.
Is this what every man wishes for—to end up in a boarding school with only women, including some rather precocious girls, and all of them seemingly wanting only one thing? Heaven on earth after the hell of the Civil War? After watching this film—which is more of a psychological thriller than a Western—men will have to rethink things, just like John McBurney, who is taken in after being seriously wounded, nursed back to health, and believes he has the situation under control, only to end up losing more than just his leg. Once again, it’s clear who the stronger sex really is!

Sonny and Jed in Spanish, while on holiday there, liked it more on this viewing, coz it was on a wide-screen TV (instead of YouTube), it’s a great movie about truly horrendous people
Those Dirty Dogs, on Wild East dvd, first time I’ve viewed it, really enjoyed it
