SWs you'd like to see on DVD

Japanese dvd includes two versions of Long Days. One with spanish audio and other with english. But the english version doesn’t have that good quality and comes with forced japanese subtitles too.

There’s an Italian Long days of vengeance DVD out too, with the full length version. I am told though, that the quality isn’t that good.

i suppose no english subtitles  damn italianos

Nope, no Eng subs on that one as far as I know. But it can be found here:

And here’s a link to the English version of the page if you want to buy it, much easier than having to try understanding Italian

By the way, Sebastian, there’s a personal message for ya, amigo; chk yer inbox…

I would like to see Long Live Your Death with Franco Nero and Eli Wallach. One of the best westerns set during the Mexican revolution.

And what about the 2 Carambola-movies in a nice box ;D ?? That´s no 1 on my wantlist !

haha why’s terence hill and bud spencer on that poster if it sais coby and smith?

Coby and Smith are Hill and Spencer look-alikes who made some movies together imitating Hill/Spencer comedies. I haven’t seen any of them.

me neither hehe, that’s why it surprised me

Amigos, both the Carambola´s are great (if you like slapstick-SpWe´s like I do). They are EXACTLY like the Trinity´s , just more of everything, more fistfights, more childish pranks and more offbeat characters ;D

DID I MENTION A GARKO SARTANA COLLECTION? ;D

I suppose…yes!

i am new to this and thought i would start the ball rolling with this.
here is 5 i’d like to see in no particular order.

  1. Sonny & Jed
  2. Silver Saddle
  3. Fort Yuma Gold
  4. Big Gundown (i know it’s out in various editions but i’d like to see a full length version in English)
  5. Great Chihuahua Treasure Hunt - Tonino Ricci (i’ve never seen it but it looks ok from the Trailer)

you can buy the big gundown In a boxset

The fist two “Stranger” films have come out on a double bill from alpha-digital

yes, but the quality was terrible, especially on the first one.

Alfa Digital is a bootleg company. I think.

And as far as I know the Stranger films are owned by Allen Klein and he doesn’t like to share. Although, it seems he’s finally going to let US editions of Jodorowsky’s films to be released.

The Stranger films double pack from Alfa Digital is apparently using recordings from Turner Classic Movies tv channel. Parts of the logo can be seen in the image in atleast one of the movies. :stuck_out_tongue:

you’re right but at least they are letterboxed and are better than any shitty tape version ive had.
At least most of the time Alpha digital do a good job (not just some photocopy cover with a purple disc).
I don’t mind paying for bootlegs if they are done professionally.
Check out their print of Violent Naples. 2.35:1 in english with nice colours.
