SWDb Spaghetti Western Hall of Fame

I need some help editing the SWDB Hall of Fame. For some reason, I can’t get the links working to the Quentin Tarantion Archives or The Deuce. Could someone please get the links working?

Well I’ve looked over the page and I haven’t seen any of the problems that seb talked about.

I’ve finally managed to get the links working to the Quentin Tarantino Archives and The Deuce.

I’ve just got the following PM from Sebastian:
hi john

havent had a chance to look at it. but if you fellas think the page is fit for the public go ahead and announce it. i’m not a hundred percent sure about the non-participants part and whether that necessarily fits in there or of we should do something like that separately some other time, but it’s your project
So what do you think guys? Should we put it on the front page?

Agreeing to that it somehow feels a bit “empty”. Maybe a few simple screenshots would help?

The page is already massive and is 95kb long. Anything more would make it too huge.

I think all we need is more wanted posters but I think its good the way it is. Its a hall of fame so its not meant to be like a magazine.

I also share Sebastian’s concern for the non-participants section, especially since he’s a hall of famer and he owns the site so people might find that wierd. I just wanted to give the scholars some recognition though when I had the idea. What do you guys think?

Maybe we should have a separate section for the non-participants?

Okay, I have put it on the front page.

Great job guys !

Couldn’t have done it any better myself (if I my say so)

Absolutely great. Fantastic work.

Compliment and respect.

Did a bit of work on the main page link. I can almost guarantee that it won’t be missed now!

I’ve always felt the non participant section was unnecessary to be honest.

But the entire thing is a job well done. Congrats and thanks to those responsible

Question to Seb: Would you also allow me to add it to that little line with the screenings and stuff?

Nice work but the picture of Evelyn Stewart is someone else…

Thanks, it really stands out now.

Thank you for all the praise guys; it’s taken a while but it’s finally completed now! Of course, Col. Douglas Mortimer’s the real hero, as he did write most of those bio’s and come up with the idea in the first place for the SWDB Hall of Fame!

You may be right, its hard to tell whether it is her or not.

Do any of you guys feel the same? Maybe we should “86” the non participants section?

Personally I don’t have a problem with Frayling and Tom Betts cause they are true SW scholars and I think deserve recognition but I do feel wierd with website owners like Shobary getting in.

Thanks for all your help! It may have been my idea but I couldn’t have done all this without the help of John Welles, Silence, Dicfish, Korano as well as helpful feedback from Phil H, Stanton, and Chris Casey.

On to the next year!

The pleasure is all mine Col.!

Thank you all for electing me to the Spaghetti Western Hall of Fame. I am truly honored. Whether you keep that section or not does not really matter to me as I was shocked to see it in the first place and to see my name along with the others I was humbled. Thanks again everyone I’ll try and live up to the honor.

And you’re well worth it. Actually, you’re the only SW fan I know that’s been active since 1985!

Gran idea.
Y me alegra mucho ver en ella a Nieves Navarro, Eduardo Fajardo, Fernando Sancho, Sambrell, y a Alejandro Ulloa.

Eso si, creo que faltan los hermanos Romero Marchent, pero es un gran trabajo.

Great idea.
And I am delighted to see her as Nieves Navarro, Eduardo Fajardo, Fernando Sancho, Sambrell, and Alejandro Ulloa.

That if I think the Romero brothers Marchent missing, but it’s a great job.
