Yodlaf, I agree with you. I loved watching those films on the big screen, with original prints. I was just surprised at how bad the print looked, espicaly compared to the print of Tepepa, which looked great. I got over my initial shock and sat back and enjoyed Face to Face.
Kinda like a grindhouse experience! wish I could be there! :-\

I’m not so sure about it being the “U.S. premiere of complete Italian version of Sollima’s THE BIG GUNDOWN” though. The one I saw at a screening I went to a few years back looked pretty uncut to me and saw a great looking print of Face to Face at the same theater. Too bad they’re screening a bad one this time around.
