Jack Palance in IL Mercenario.
Not sure if I would label it a comedy western.
Wouldn’t that slap it in the same catergory as those awful slapstick westerns?
Yes, it has comedy in it but it has a heavy dose of action as well.
I’ve always described the film as the third Corbucci Zapata movie starring Nero but directed by Duccio Tessari, oh! and Wallach in the role of the Milian/ Musante type.
The movie is very similar to VAMOS A MATAR COMPANEROS.
If you like one you’ll like the other.
And by the way, there is a quick tit flash in THE SILENT STRANGER. I believe it is the scene towards the end where Anthony walks in on a baddie trying to rape a woman.
And, rather surprised nobody has mentioned this, you can catch a glimpse of Rosemary Dexter’s petite tots in the first or second flashback Indio has about her. You’ll have to go frame by frame just as Indio yanks her pink night gown off
Not sure if I should pat myself on the back or feel ashamed. :-[

True, not a slapstick comedy western, but still pretty humorous at times
It has a serious side as well, and I think it’s actually even better than Companeros
see attachment, from Koch’s new Durango DVD… what a nice rack…

I believe Duel in the Eclipse has a bit of nudity from what I hear from a friend of mine on another forum.
I wouldn’t know unfortunatly because my dvd is severly cut. The hand ripping effect is cut to.

Yikes, I don’t remembert this! I’ll have to watch it again. Maybe I was too distracted by Aldo Smabrell’s wig.
here we go… Those Dirty Dogs… to fast to get a better one

Not too fast for the Rev tho! These puppies are already posted on page10 of this thread, Brother Raph.
May the good Lord guide you in becoming quicker on the trigger, my son - for this is a holy quest .
I’ve sadly found it languishing towards the bottom of page 2 - outrageous.
After saying I wouldn’t post Apache Woman … cos altho’ she spends most of the film is some sort of partial undress, mostly this is trying to escape being raped or beaten. There is, however, a bit of her and Tigger, sorry Al Cliver, getting the lurrrve thing going amongst the flowers, that shows the more gentle side of the film (which contrasts with its downright mean-spiritedness otherwise).
So - Apache woman …

Dear me, now I understand why some people watch this film in bed
This fellah couldn’t stay in bed tho’ … her father’s jus’ unexpectantly popped round to say “hello”, and he’s not gonna be sticking around. Coitus interruptus … and
… the ‘lighter’ side of Black Jack … if there is such a thing!

Yes it has but very little, at least in my version.
To me, what’s more controversial than nudity in spaghetti films is Leone’s really revolutionary use of marijuana smoking. I’m surprised more people don’t mention this and discuss it, especially in For A Few Dollars More. El Indio is not only a paranoid, jealous, sadistic killer, he’s a doper!
Sort of surprised it didn’t get more criticism in the United States.
i dont think anyone realized it was pot
i sure didn’t
A Gunman of One Hundred Crosses also has nudity.
Hello. New guy here. Great forum, and fun thread. I don’t think anyone has mentioned Diamante Lobo, or God’s Gun, which has several scenes of nudity mostly revolving around violence. If my mammary serves me correctly, more than one dance hall girl has part of her clothing ripped off while being molested by the bandits. And while the mayors daughter was being ravished on the sofa, there was a very graphic, but brief shot of her female anatomy with no panties. The camera zooms in on her bottom side, so the shot was intentional, and brief enough to be subliminal in the pre VCR days when there was no way to rewind and pause to confirm, “Was that what I think it was?”.
Yes, God’s Gun has a couple of scenes with nudity in, mostly during the end. That’s also one of the reasons I don’t like the film, I hate rape scenes. By the way, welcome to the forum Segoing.Cowboy!
