New spaghetti-inspired font/typeface. Need your help!

Hey guys,

I’ve been working on a new typeface based on those seen in spaghetti opening credits sequences. I’m calling it Sartana, for lack of a better idea. It looks like this:

[/center]

It has all of the regular punctuation, symbols and numbers. I could use your help in beta testing it before I release to the general public. Any chance you’d let me know if you spot anything incredibly off? Weird spacing? Common character I’ve missed? My attempt at drawing the Euro symbol doesn’t work? Drop a note in this thread, and I’ll do my best to fix it.

Here’s the fonthttp://www.mediafire.com/?6fnmpw0n16mir84.

Thanks!

I’m looking for that original font.

You did a nice job, but it doesn’t quite look like it.

Yeah, this is definitely my own work, simply inspired by the types of faces seen in those opening sequences.

If you want something that’s more traced straight from the originals, I’d suggest Rugbyhttp://www.quartzcity.net/rugby-font/.

Good work. I imagine people will find it useful when they are designing their own custom Spaghetti Western DVD covers.

Thanks, John! I hope to see it being put to good use!
