Than itā€™s most likely NTSC.

Yes, in Lola Colt - Faccia a faccia con El Diablo the main character is a woman (played by Lola Falana).

I donā€™t know if a more complete copy is available, but the theatrical running time is 85 minutes.

My DVD-R of the German VHS runs around 80 Minutes, I think. Picture is OK
The Film is very boring in my eyesā€¦

very stupid title lookā€™s like a porno to meā€¦ :-\

I canā€™t do anything about it, but you shouldnā€™t quote him, just ignore the spam. Seb will erase it.

ok thenā€¦

Oh and Sartana68 it seems to be better, but donā€™t ask me why, not to answer to spam posts and especially nott o quote them.
So maybe you could erase your 4 posts in which you quoted the spammer.

Nice still and a lucky man.

From Argentina of all places. I managed to pick up a great still from the same seller of John Steiner from Violent Rome, smirking in a car holding a machine gun on the camera, but he is named Ray Lovelock on the back by the company :).

After deliberately avoiding Lola Colt. Faccia a faccia con El Diablo for a long time ā€“ leery of musicals in general and Western musicals in particular ā€“ Iā€™ve only recently watched it because Lee Broughton discusses it at length in The Euro-Western. True, from an academic viewpoint Siro Marcelliniā€™s film is an outstanding Western, featuring Lola Falana as a self-assured, strong black protagonist acting on her own authority, years before American Westerns ā€“ and Hollywood in general ā€“ would allot such a leading role to an African-American actress. On the downside, Lola Colt tells a simplistic story ā€“ villainous autocrat versus oppressed townsfolk ā€“ employing modest filmic means: hence its entertainment value might not bear comparison with its film-historical and sociocultural value. Reportedly, scenes depicting interracial romantic interaction were cut from the English version:

FightingWesterner, IMDb:

An interracial romance between Lola and Martell, as well as a kiss between Lola and El Diablo appear to have been scrubbed from the English language version.

Those omissions would be indicative of Lola Coltā€™s transgressiveness.

I thought this was pretty boring to be honest. Could have been a lot better if theyā€™d have developed the characters more. I just didnā€™t see anything creative here.

German BluRay/DVD arrives next February

Had this is getting a high def version for people interested, but I was disappointed by this. I was hoping for something like Cleopatra Jones in the west and it just didnā€™t deliver.

Yeah, I also remember the film being very slow
