Jonathan of the Bears / Jonathan degli orsi (Enzo G. Castellari, 1993)

Well, it’s not really Keoma 2 but it’s clear that they tried to revive some of the magic of that movie. Keoma had songs, so they must have concluded that this one should have them too. It could have done sithout them, yes. The character of the minstrel seems superfluous as well.

Where can i find the lyrics?

It’s been a while since I watched this one but I remember laughing at the Mongolian actors playing American Indians. The martial arts was a little bit silly, as well. I think the main issue is that it doesn’t know whether it wants to be a serious western or an exploitation movie. Anyway, I remember enjoying it at least. I’ll have to watch it again. The soundtrack was enjoyable. Keoma and Jonathan of the Bears are for an acquired taste, I think. The DVD I got was released by a company called Underground Empire. It is probably a very well made bootleg. The artwork on the cover was excellent and so was the quality of the DVD itself.

The Squaw in it is lovely

Not exactly my type but I can see the appeal. She didn’t look American Indian though. Maybe 1/4. ;D
