Is the new Grindhouse release of 'The Big Gundown' region free?

Hi.
Please, can someone confirm for sure whether or not the new Grindhouse bluray release of ‘The Big Gundown’ is region free? For example, will it play on region 2 players in the UK?
Any confirmation would be most welcome.
Also, if anyone has already viewed it, can they please tell me how good it is? I bought the German bluray release of the movie a few months back, and it is pretty good. How does the Grindhouse release compare?
