Interesting reading about the author, ‘Forrest Carter’ on wikipedia … too extreme for the KKK

My latest purchase is ‘The Last Round’’ (Il conto è chiuso) the 1976 Italian crime film directed by Stelvio Massi.

It’s basically another uncredited remake of ‘Yojimbo’ and ‘A Fistful of Dollars’.

And it has a Luis Bacalov soundtrack.

Two more B Day money pickups, this time from 88 Films

One of my Dutch buddies sent me the old Blu Ray 88 did last summer and I really enjoyed the film so I decided to upgrade as 88 has really upped their transfer game recently.

Read recently that Absurd is the less grisly and more palpable - and the plot sounds pretty dang good TBH - of the George Eastman/Joe D’Amato pairings so I finally decided to satiate my curiousity and give it a try.

That’s a cool looking Inglorious Bastards. I’m hoping to meet Enzo G. Castellari in June. But of course I’ll be asking him more about his westerns.

Yes, it is the Scandinavian Blu-ray.
I also have a 3-disc dvd in wooden box, but I wanted to upgrade this movie to Blu-ray.
