Here’s a list of Greek DVDs I assembled from eBay over time. Don’t have much info about them. I added the language but it’s info from the sellers so unconfirmed.

I have most of them, the quality is quite OK and there’s english or italian audio with forced greek subs. All series have basically the same movies.

Do you mean the titles in my indexes are wrong?

No, the indexes are correct. What I meant was that the covers are not ‘inspired’ from a scene of the movie, they are just some random yet well-drawn pictures.

Added some more titles I found this past year. Fairly complete now I think.

Which one, I have filters in Opera but I just tried IE without filters and I don’t get any popups. I think I also selected “family safe” when I uploaded the pictures

How is the quality of the New Star DVD’s? I think New Star went belly up years ago?

I have the New Star DVD of the J-horror classic, Ghost Story of Yotsuya (1959). The quality is pretty good but I’m waiting for Criterion to come out with an even better R1 release. I don’t think they will release it though, even if they have the rights to it.

I’m thinking of buying the Sartana in the Valley of Death one, does anyone else have this, as apparently there’s 2 versions, one 79 min version and one that says 95. I just want to check before I order it, to see if it really is 95 min?

That’s true I think! I come from a small town and there is an old videoclub. You can’t imagine what you can find there. There are more than 100 old SW VHS. Next summer, when I go there for vacation, I’m definitely going to check them carefully and make a list. :wink:
