“In the summer of 1898, a small group of German compatriots head into the hostile northern interior of British Columbia in search for gold at the height of the Klondike Gold Rush.”
Eurowestern starring Nina Hoss. Small-group-against-the-nature-and-themselves type of story. Filmed at real Canada locations, so it looks great and scenery is probably its main calling card. Story is nothing spectacularly original, but it is executed very well and I was enjoying watching this. I liked it better than Das finstere Tal. Recommended.
