please contribute or correct or add to it

Someone please educate me on something. Is Amazon.de unable to sell Blindman for some reason? Does it have to do with ratings? I want to order it but cannot find it. I can order it at xploitedcinema so I can get it through other sources. Just curious why it’s not on Amazon.

yes. Blindman is rated “keine Jugendfreigabe” (formerly known as FSK18), which means it’s not suitable for adoleccents.
due to german law, films and media rated 18 (let’s call it that for simplicity here), are not allowed to be sold publicly on the internet. special rated-18 stores sell them after ID verification and in stores here you usually have to show your ID, too. I don’t know why Amazon doesn’t just introduce ID verification, but i assume that’s against their family-friendly policy.

if you want German DVDs that are rated 18, you need to check out special stores. you will not find them at amazon.de or ebay.de

merry christmas

Thanks for the reply and Merry Christmas.

Now I finally sorted out the different German DVD versions of “Boots Hill” aka La collina degli stivali

A) There’s the old German “marketing” DVD release which is the uncut international version (as long as the wild east dvd) but in the wrong aspect ratio, bad quality and only the GDR dub (former east german dubbing)

B) There’s the new German “Sunlight” DVD release (3 DVDS!) which features a) the uncut international version (as released before, and identical with the Wild East DVD in terms of length) but this time in correct format and good quality PLUS english audio then there is b) the “integral” version which restores some material from bad-quality sources but makes it the longest version available and it also has the GDR dub, the english dub (dont know about the restored scenes) and the west-german comedy dub. and c) then the 3rd DVD boasts some extras and the extremely cut tv version of the film with the west-german funny dub

seems like another german dvd with english audio:

‘La Spacconata’ is not really recommendable. It’s just a cheap version of ‘Zanna Bianca’ (White Fang). I thought it was very boring when I watched the tape years ago and actually fell asleep !!! Only for real buffs and collectors !!!

I think these two latest releases from X-rated kult dvd haven’t been mentioned on the forum yet.

http://xploitedcinema.com/catalog/light-fusesartana-coming-xrated-kult-region-special-edition-p-7807.html

I already have good versions of both films so I think I won’t be buying them though.

Latest from x-rated:

http://xploitedcinema.com/catalog/figlio-django-p-10685.html

Son of Django, Anyone seen it? Is it good?

anyone know when those last 3 discs from X-Rated are going to be hitting amazon.de? seems a bit stupid to have them exported from Germany to the US and then back to the UK!

I’ve seen it. It’s nothing special, for fans only !!! See ‘The last western you’ve watched’ !!!
Saw these advertised on an online retailers site.

When don’t you just buy them from www.italopapst.de (the cheapest place I’ve found) or www.dtm.at ?

Is a 2-disc release with the second disc containing uncut (and with optional English dub) version of La Più grande rapina del west (aka Halleluja for Django)
anyone know when those last 3 discs from X-Rated are going to be hitting amazon.de? seems a bit stupid to have them exported from Germany to the US and then back to the UK!
Strange thing is that it’s usually even cheaper to buy them from Xploited cinema than from European stores.

My parcels always get opened up by U.K customs when I order from exploited, so I only ever order two films at a time.

Italopapst.de charges 15 euro for single disc releases and 20 euro double discs… Way cheaper than xploitedcinema. Plus you avoid customs charges.
