I dunno… ‘Timing’ is everything for a release. And Americans tend to suffer from blockbuster-fatigue in a bad economy. I never read the novel, so I can’t speculate on its presentation. There can’t be cliched characters, nor politically-correct ‘history revisions’. Otherwise it becomes mostly a teen-male movie with diminished repeat-audience numbers.
Just saw it…Daniel Craig was good but not much else redeeming about this film!
