Hello all, does anyone happen to own a copy or know where I can find a copy of Porno Erotico Western from 1979.

It seems that this one will be restored and released in a near future.

The runtime of the original VM18 rated version is just under 76 minutes.

About three minutes from Porno erotico western uploaded to YouTube! :grinning:

So at long last it has surfaced. Gave it a watching tonight. Two observations.
One, this film has nothing in common with Death Played the Flute whatsoover (except for perhaps one supporting actor appearing in both films).
Two, Remo Capitani is in this film after all, and in a central part, as the father. And so is Gordon Mitchell but in a small part.

So you mean it is NOT ’Death Played the Flute’, just with a new soundtrack and some (soft) porn thrown in? I haven’t watched ’Death Played…’ for a while so I cannot remember, but that’s the premise.

On the other hand, what I liked about this was that it was a spaghetti western with some ’porn’ thrown in, not the other way around.

Released in 1979, this might be the last of the spaghettis of that decade, and quite interesting music it had. The tune has now played in my head the whole evening.

No it is not. There are no scenes here taken from DPF. There are nothing here that elaborates on anything in DPF. And there is nothing here that seems as if it was made for DPF. The storylines of the two films has nothing in common. The actors are not the same (with one exception mentioned earlier). Two completely different films by the same producer.

Ok. So it is a totally different film. Because, all descriptions about this film are, that it is = DPTF, but with added sex scenes (and possibly rearranging the scenes from the original film), where the sex scenes are the only footage not included in DPTF.

That it is a totally different film with all new footage is contrary to what has been written about this film before -but on the other hand, not many have seen it before, and the ‘facts’ told may have been false.

Thomas Weisser writes in his book Spaghetti Westerns: The Good, the Bad and the Violent that “[i]n 1978 an unscrupulous production company secured the rights to tDPF, and after inserting hard core sex scenes re-released it under the name Porno Erotic Western”. But in fact, Lo ammazzò was re-released in 1979 in an extended 90 minutes’ version with 14 years rating (English title Requiem for a Bounty Killer ), while Porno Erotico Western was released by Pannacciò himself the same year. According to Maurizio Centini, the cinematographer of the latter film, it consisted of scenes from two westerns Pannacciò had produced in the early 1970’s (that would be Lo ammazzò and Una cuerda ) with additional “pushed” scenes (“di scene spinte”) shot by Pannacciò at Gordon Mitchell’s western town.

This I think now can be laid to rest.

Weisser was the ultimate troll.

This thread is uncategorized at present, so I propose to move it to the Spaghetti Westerns category after changing its title to Porno Erotico Western (Angelo Pannacciò, 1979).

A very different part in this one for Tony De Leo, who shared the leading role with Fangareggi in Seven Nuns in Kansas City. :slightly_smiling_face:
