This film grew on me a lot. I think it would be nice to have the option to watch the longer cut with Coburn’s real voice.

I believe Coburn’s dub for longer version doesn’t exist. Maybe best option would be If good imitator could dub the missing part, but they’d have to do it better than they did with GBU extended cut.

I think a good compromise would be to use the audio with Coburn’s voice for the scenes he dubbed and then use the other dub for the parts he didn’t. Similar to how many releases cut to Italian with English subs on films that weren’t completely dubbed into English.

but then you might as well just switch to Italian…

Both options would work and even better if the disc had the choice between both options!!!

Lowest I see the blood money box is now 45 quid at Amazon UK, any other hints? Of course I need a place that will ship to Germany (Zavvi for example doesnt)

I could get one for you Seb and post it over?

Now that Arrow is has released Garko’s $10,000 For a Massacre and Vengeance is Mine - what are the next Spags that everyone is hoping gets the blu ray treatment?

Personally I’d really like an easier to get release of California as it’s not really cheap to import the big box version, plus I’m not a fan of the packaging. My big one for getting an upgrade though, would be Blood at Sundown (a.k.a $1,000 On the Black).

I’m still holding out hope to eventually get a copy of El Puro and also Hate is My God…which has been promised forever!

Blood at Sundown was released as a part of Koch Medias Spaghetti Western box series, and California was also released by Wild East.

Go With God Gringo
I’ll Die For Vengeance
Man that Cried for Revenge
Sonora (English)
Dead Men Ride (English)
John the Bastard
Arizona on Earth
Clumsy Hands
Death Played the Flute
I Want Him Dead
Degueyo

Blood at Sundown isn’t blu ray tho is it?

Just from a UK perspective it definitely feels like we’re still missing a lot of big names; there are lots of Gemma/Milian/Hill/Kinski films that have never had any kind of decent HD release over here.

California is a +1 from me too, bundle it with Silver Saddle and you’ve got the beginning of a ā€œTwilight Westernā€ boxset right there! Add Four of the Apocalypse and Keoma, and it’s perfect!
Sadly Argent/Cult seeming to be squatting on the Keoma license (… and others. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:)

For now I’m just gonna hold out hope for an English Face to Face blu ray, even though I know it won’t be perfect due to reasons out of everyone’s control. :smiling_face_with_tear:

Almost all the movies everyone has mentioned is one I’d like to see released on Blu Ray. The only films I don’t wanna see are the Fidani ones and the ultra low end stuff.

One of the primary reasons I went All Region for physical media is that I knew quite a bit of the SWs weren’t going to see good quality releases in the US, or worse only get put out by Mill Creek who’s quality control is too up and down for me. I do enjoy importing from the various UK, German, and the occasional Japanese and French companies because I know the films will get the proper love and respect they deserve. Even if I am paying a little more for the import, it’s worth it so those companies can keep releasing them.
