Isn’t Sonny & Jed a little bit autumnal?

Also the big coats and scarves they wear

Watched Son of Django this morning and the early scenes in that most certainly have an autumnal setting.

The question is:

Are there enough scenes like that to call the entire flick autumnal?

To be honest, I’m not sure I really understand what is meant by an autumnal film. Outside of some brown leaves what does it actually mean?

Autumnal locations, Autumnal mood, big coats and such.

It means brown leaves.

And a bit of a chill in the air. And rustic settings. And ideally a melancholic tone.

Agree with all. I think it doesn’t just have to be filmed in autumnal forests but have a certain atmosphere. Vengeance is one I’d definetly consider autumnal even with it’s Spanish locations. Its mostly about color, and mood, etc.
