1001 Movies to Watch Before You Die

101- The Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover

what’s a list whithout a Peter Greenaway

Cool Soundtrack by Nyman, and Mirren of course

Haven’t noticed any documentaries yet, so here goes:

  1. Grizzly Man

    Grizzly Man (2005) - IMDb

  2. Dont Look Back

Dont Look Back (1967) - IMDb

The problem is John, with a list like this you are going to have to accept a range of opinion and on a site like this that opinion is likely to be less mainstream. So a number of films which may seem ‘obvious’ for a list like this elsewhere may not get much love around here and vice versa. Once you’ve thrown it open to the forum you have to let it be whatever it turns out to be. And besides, it’s likely to be the most unlikely or less known titles which turn out to be the most interesting.

  1. Piedone lo sbirro aka Flatfoot
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070534/
Bud Spencer as Commissario Rizzo in a funny poliziottesco. Watch out for his large Spaghetti portions.

  2. Anche gli angeli mangiano fagioli
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069713/
Bud Spencer not with Terence Hill but with Guiliano Gemma.

  3. Lo chiamavano Bulldozer
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077864/http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070534/
Bud Spencer as former (american) Football Hero and now coach of a group of young Italians. Always liked the German Title: Sie nannten ihn Mücke - They called him midge .

  1. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

108. Vertigo

109. The Maltese Falcon http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060196/(I’m not sure if this has been already listed)

If anyone just like Jess Franco Joe D’amato kind of films and he does not see others so for that person those are the one see before he goes to the grave. I like to see a Franco flick for shure, but that’s i like cinema and it’s history, and the storeis behind, anyway any guy from Ed Wood, Corman, Giovanni (the guy was in death row, before he became a filmaker) to Scorcese who it’s motiveted to make cinema for any reason (art, money, women, something to tell), got my sincere congratulatios, I’ve always wanted do it but never did. Anyway for me it Movies are like women all of them are pretty, just some are more pretier than others

After checking a couple of clips, I reckon I like CB4 better. But I’ll check out the whole thing some time

After a while it’s gonna be too hard to trawl through them all to see if something has already been submitted.
116. The Great Silence (has that been posted already maybe?)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063032/
No it hasn’t.

Not really, as you can always search for the title you want to add on the search engine when viewing this thread. If you’re on a thread and you search for something, it will only search through that particular thread.
120. Emperor of the North

Should have put this as my first.
You can still change this with the modify option

That’s part of the Game. Time of the Gypsies has been mentioned twice.
