Very good if you like The Streets, Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip or even John Cooper Clarke but, like those acts, can sometimes become a bit monotonous when listening to a whole album at a time. Fantastic in small doses, though.

One I’m listening too also often in the last weeks. This and several live albums from Soft Machine and live bootlegs from Peter Hammill. And the BBC stuff from Siouxsie and the Banshees. And Zappa’s King Kong, the best best King Kong ever, and is so much better than Jackson’s remake.

Is it any good? I think so, yes. Is it remarkable, outstanding? I’m less sure of that. That’s not to say that it’s not, but I’d need to live with it a little longer to know for certain.
