You know your Ninja movies, eh alk0? Lol

The ninja empire is evil! I have to reform the ninja empire!

I mostly agree with the great top 20 list with the exception of Duck You Sucker. I love all of Leone’s movies, but this one just never worked for me. It is not bad but I do not put it in my top 20. Anyone else?

I dont have it in my top 50… That one or Keoma

A lot of people don’t care for DYS. An often polarizing film.

Glancing back at my top20 now, geez, time for an update

I did not used to care for it years ago, but one of my favourites now. Always find something new in the film.

DYS is a very good film. It’s just not Top 20 good to me. I’ve watched it twice, so it may grow on me with more viewings. Same with The Mercenary. I only watched it once and I wasn’t In love with it. I prefer Companeros, but I really need to give The Mercenary another viewing and see if I enjoy it more.

So far it didn’t work for me either. I’ve seen it maybe four of five times, the last time in the uncut version, which made things a bit better, but it’s not a great film. There are good things in it, but the terribly unfunny first half hour and Steiger’s performance remain insurmontable obstacles for me. Coburn’s okay, but I don’t really like his character either.

Maybe my thoughts would be more positive if it were made by another director.

Steiger okay in my book though

DYS is one that I just can’t ever see the complaints for. Have loved it since day one.

What I meant to say is that it tries to be funny, but isn’t.

Thanks last.caress

Yeah. I love this movie.

Nice cover.

Your vote, the third one so far for Coward’s Don’t Pray, kicked this film from # 141 straight into the top 100. # 97

But, do cowards really not pray?

jaja. In my country it is known as The avenger of the south (El vengador del Sur)

boring film and the ending very bad :-\
