thanks for letting me know the contact page doesnt work.
I will work on fixing that!
Welcome on board and thanks for offering your help!
Thanks for the quick replies. Iām particularly keen on SW music. Iād like to contribute info and reviews if that is possible.
sure. i can set you up with an account for the main database. have u worked with a wiki before?
Thanks! I have indeed (Wikipedia and Discogs, eg).
If you need help, just give me a sign
Maybe Iām going blind but Iām having trouble seeing how to upload images to the DB since we changed over. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I think you click on āmenuā, then āsettings (the little cogs symbol)ā, then click on āupload fileā. Thereās instructions from there.
Iām not at my main pc, Iām on my tablet which I can barely operate but, if youāre still stuck later by the time Iām at my pc, Iāll go through it and take a snapshot of each step. If I could remember without looking Iād tell you but, alas, my brain is like a sieve.
^^^^ Thatās it!
Cheers both. I have it now
Iām not sure if it belongs here, but anyway: Sometimes when I click on a link for Amazon.com, it takes me to Amazon.fr instead. For example, the following two links from the Run Man Run DVD page:
And I also have a question related to Run Man Run: The database says that the Western Triple Feature is region 0, but when I look it up on Amazon.com, thereās an image of the back cover that clearly says region 1. Iām interested in this DVD, but Iām not sure if itās region 0 or region 1.
There is some geo-location thing eith amazon.com hat tries to send you to where u are if the same product exists. We will probably deactivate that again.
Alright, thanks for clarifying. And do you know if that Western Triple Feature is region 0 like the database says, or is it region 1 like the image says?
I believe the seperate releases from BU were region free so it would be weird if these were not. Maybe someone can confirm.
I would never trust Amazon on this, but also never blindly trust the SWDb. The BU releases are most certainly region free, especially if the single releases wereā¦
I had a look on BUās website, and even there it says the triple feature is region 1. I just tried to contact them via Twitter to be sure, so hopefully theyāll answer soon.
It says region 0 also on the ofdb.de:

But elther way dvd region locking shouldnāt be a major deal in 2019. 20 years ago sure but most dvd players can be made region free with a few magic presses on the remote. Look up your player and see if you canāt find a recope for that particular one.
Still. DVD region locking is not a problem in 2019. You are bound to end up with a very limited movie collection if that is going to stop you
