Comin’ at Ya! (Ferdinando Baldi, 1981)

Hey, no problem.
Take your time!

As our subscribers may already know…
The LEANER and MEANER promo is now available!
You now have the option of either watching the 5 and 1/2 minute promo or the considerably less lengthy new promo, which runs just shy of 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
The new promo also has improved colors on both the Bats and the Rats!
Please take the time to let us know which promo you enjoy best.
Thank You!

About 24 hours ago I saw that somebody attempted to make the reissue known on the film’s wiki page but it was taken down soon after.
Is the website not enough proof for Wikipedia?

I suppose we’ll have to wait for the press release before we can get people to believe us.
You would think a video of the restoration of Comin’ At Ya! would have been enough to satisfy the suspicions of wiki.

Because, ya know…

Keeping Comin’ At Ya!'s integrity alive is what wikipedia is all about… :-\

wikipedia are jerks. that’s why we have the SWDB

so any idea on what kind of release this will get? do we in the US need to hit up our local indie theaters and tell them to do a showing? would definitely like to be able to see it

We’re waiting for a key player to arrive from HONG KONG on monday so we can discuss sneak peek screenings of the film as early as next month.

Is there any offical DVD (or Blue Ray) release of this movie available?

There is this one:

https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/6305564345/spaghetti-western-20

I wouldn’t even bother with that considering the real deal will be hitting the theatres soon (and also considering the film was never meant to be in anaglyphic format anyway!) and soon after you’ll have a dvd ten times better than that atrocious piece of garbage they’re selling on amazon.

Paco, have a look at the official re-release/re-invention site if you haven’t already…

http://cominatyanoir3d.com/

then you can check out the thread about it here…

thx ennio but I hoped there would be somewhere a better release. I’m quite curious about this re-release and would like to see it in a 3D cinema.

Looks like the Cinematheque in Paris is going to show an original 35 mm print of COMIN’ AT YA! in Stereoscopic 3-D!

http://www.cinematheque.fr/fr/projections/rendez-vous-reguliers/fiche-manifestation/cinema-bis-cinema-bis,11031.html

It’s an unauthorized showing but we’ll speak to the President of the Cinematheque soon to clear things out.
I don’t forsee Tony stopping the showing but instead asking them to advertise us before and after the show.

Wish they would have done this when I was in Paris 6 months ago. >:(

Tony Anthony (Star and producer of COMIN’ AT YA!) will be interviewed on ZOMBIE POPCORN RADIO on Saturday, Feb. 13th 2010.
Tony will talk about his 3-D films as well as go into detail about COMIN’ AT YA NOIR 3D!

Be sure to listen in between 7pm to 9pm!

here is the site

Sounds like my kind of radio channel ;D .

Cheers for that bit of news, amigo!

Any word on the DVD releases for A STRANGER IN TOWN and THE STRANGER RETURNS?

I know the talks are going on…or were.
