Great news about Requiescant - it seems like Arrow are announcing a Spaghetti Western every quarter.
ā¦ and itās apparently cut and just a vhs-transfer ?
True on all counts unfortunately. Iāve returned it. Notwithstanding onemanbandās explanation about the problems of getting decent transfers of these films, this oneās just a scam. Thereās no benefit to the customer of distributing VHS transfers on Blu.
I have about 40 SW HD discs and have been very pleased with all but a handful. I donāt know why Blue Undergroundās Companeros was slated so. It looked very decent to me (via Panasonic projector on a 9 ft screen).
Really? A VHS transfer on Blu???
Sounds laughable. The BU DVD would beat that.
They should get sued for fraud!
Indeed, the Mannaja disc does not carry English audioā¦ The quality is ok to watch, but it doesnāt really add anything over the older DVDā¦ Iām just to lazy to send it back I guess, good thing it was cheap. Next time I buy a German Bluray I will wait for reviews firstā¦
Can u send a screenshot?
German Universum/Tobis is putting out Die grosse Bud Spencer Box on Bluray September the 25th containing among other films Buddy Goes West (aka Occhio alla penna). Probably with Italian and German dub and German subs. Nice

Un dollaro bucato (Limited Edition Mediabook Cover A)
which label?
VZ Handels GmbH
So it might be no more than a repackaging. I wonder how the master looks like on Blu
Itās this one:

A review of Arrowās new Blu-ray release of CEMETERY WITHOUT CROSSES, with screengrabs comparing it with the Japanese SPO DVD release from 2004: http://www.dvdcompare.net/review.php?rid=3780
Oddly, the Arrow disc presents the opening and closing scenes without the sepia tinting thatās present in the SPO DVD.
This is a big deal to me, I hope enough people complain so that they correct it.
I have only ever seen the SPO DVD but would assume it was intended as sepia.
